I'm writing this from 30,000 feet today... and friends, I have a particular flying routine that Krista has previously described using words like "inflexible," "high-maintenance,"... and "travel snob."
I used believe that she just didn't understand the beautiful subtleties of an efficient traveler. Today, I learned that, maybe, she has a point.
When the TSA agent asked me to take my computer out of my bag, I kindly told her I didn't have to.
Y'all—I didn't even look at my ticket to confirm TSA-Pre when she asked to see my boarding pass. I just confidently handed her my phone to which she replied, "Yeah, take it out of your bag."
As a friend said, not my best look.

A 20% webinar show-up rate seems to be the new normal. It used to be 30% plus. We've seen this consistently throughout this year except one launch (that was closer to the old normal). I happened to chat with an industry friend who has been in the webinar game for a long time now, and she confirmed that's what she's seeing, too.
Fortunately (or unfortunately?), the % of webinar attendees who purchase seems to remain consistent. That said, one concerning note from that same conversation was whether the non-purchasing leads ever purchase something down the line. We're going to get better at tracking how long on average it takes our webinar leads to convert. Will report back.
Ad costs for webinar registrations spiked the week before the webinar, likely due to the tumultuous events of the week. We decided not to scale that week, which I think was the right call since costs dropped considerably in the days leading up to the webinar.
Instagram and Facebook engagement has been challenging lately. But we've seen some interesting engagement with YouTube Shorts, leading me to wonder whether it has anything to do with YouTube's recent updates.
I'll better understand how things are shaped up after the cart closes next week.

Despite the ubiquity (and aforementioned challenges) of free, online trainings, I still think that the webinar format is one of the best sales vehicles.
